Application Problem: A food manufacturing company required a sanitary level sensor to monitor a very narrow tank with syrup and some steam present.
Application History: Other level sensor technologies were used. Problems with condensation and build-up on the transducer face disturbed the measurement.
Solution: ABM’s ultrasonic sensor (ABM300-070ULC2-PVPVC model) with 2” SS316 tri-clamp sanitary mounting was selected for the application. The sanitary transducer with self-cleaning solved the above problems.
