Application Problem: A customer came to ABM with an application to measure liquid level in a pipe attached to a tank.
Application History: Level sensors with fixed power from other manufacturers we used Fixed power radar. The radar and ultrasonic sensors detected false echoes from the pipe connections.
Solution: ABM’s non-contact radar and ultrasonic level sensors were selected for the application. The sensors provide automatic power and sensitivity control, so they eliminate false echo’s from the pipe connections to tank.
