The ABM Aimer is used for bulk solids applications where aligning a non-contact level sensor with the discharge hole is necessary for accurate level measurements. Installation inside a tank is used to bypass standpipes or shield a sensor from RF interference. The flange mounted swivel aimer makes pointing the sensor simple. The sensor can be rotated 360° and angled at 0 to 25° off vertical.
The aimer has four components:
- An 8” O.D. flange with six (6) 0.275” holes on a 7.0” bolt pattern or a 9” O.D. flange with eight (8) 0.75″ holes on 7.5″ bolt pattern.
- A locking clamp with four (4) ¼”- 28 UNRF socket head cap screws.
- A joystick swivel ball with IP68 cable connector on the top end and 1” NPT on the bottom.
- An a 1” pipe adapter to connect the joystick to the sensor.
