Oil Drum Level Measurement

Application Problem: A customer required level sensors to monitor the level in 55 gallon drums containing oil.

Solution: ABM’s high-frequency mini ultrasonic level transmitter was selected for the application. The transmitter is ideal for short range applications due to its plug-and-play installation with simple calibration and maintenance free operation. The very narrow radiation beam enables the transmitter to be installed close to the drum wall with no affect on operation.
