Application Problem: An orange orchard farm required flow rate measurement in a flume to monitor an irrigation channel.
Application History: A robust level sensor solution was required to withstand outdoor conditions and reliably measure the flow of water through the flume.
Solution: ABM’s non-contact ultrasonic sensor was selected for the application. The robust IP68 sensor withstands the outdoor conditions. The sensor is not sensitive to mounting conditions. Fast response protocol measures water through the flume and converts into open channel meter to get the flow rate.
